About SRIENG Kimsron

Mr. Srieng Kimsron is a Science Teacher Educator in Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) and researcher with a strong interest in science education, digital technology integration, and innovative teaching practices.

He is actively involved in teacher education, curriculum development, and capacity building, contributing to national programs under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS). His work focuses on integrating innovative pedagogies, including STEM and digital learning, to enhance teaching and learning quality.

Mr. Kimsron holds a Master of Science in Climate Change and a Master’s degree in School Leadership (MALUP). He also earned bachelor’s degrees in Geography from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and English Literature from the Cambodia International Cooperation Institute, in addition to professional teacher training in Earth Science from the National Institute of Education.

He has participated in several international training and capacity-building programs in countries such as South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, and Malaysia, focusing on STEM education, teacher development, and educational innovation.

His research interests include STEM education, climate change, environmental sustainability, and innovative teaching practices, with multiple academic publications in these areas. Currently, he is engaged in curriculum development, research, and teacher training, contributing to the advancement of education in Cambodia.

Beyond his professional endeavors, he maintains personal interests in reading, collaborative work, communication, technology, and sports, which support his ongoing development as an educator and lifelong learner.
