About Tithsothy PENG

She is currently Deputy Director and Assistant Professor at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College and has been appointed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport as an education specialist in science teacher education, and educational assessment. In her current role, she has extensive experience in teacher education and development, particularly in curriculum development, teacher capacity building, institutional development, educational teacher assessment, and teaching methods. Mrs. PENG TITHSOTHY has published widely in local and international journals. Her research focuses on teacher professional quality, alongside broader interests in educational assessment and teaching methods, STEM education, basic and higher education, digital education, and institutional governance.

Mrs. PENG TITHSOTHY holds two Bachelor’s degree from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), Cambodia, and a Master’s degree from Hiroshima University, Japan. Her academic background reflects a strong foundation in teacher education, shaped by diverse international study and research experiences.
