About Sou Leakena

Sou Leakena is an experienced English lecturer and teacher educator with fourteen years of experience in teaching and education. She spent five years as a high school English teacher before transitioning to PTEC. She has dedicated her career to helping students improve their English language proficiency, communication skills, and academic development.

Currently, she is teaching at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College , where she works with pre-service teachers and supports the development of future educators. Her professional interests include English language teaching, classroom management, curriculum development, and innovative teaching methodologies.

Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in designing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, and preparing educational materials that promote active learning and student engagement. She is passionate about creating positive learning environments that encourage students to become confident and independent learners.

In addition to teaching, She continuously seeks opportunities for professional growth through training, workshops, and educational research. She strongly believes in lifelong learning and is committed to contributing to the improvement of education in Cambodia.
