About Seang Sokhary
Ms. Seang Sokhary is a Cambodian physics educator currently serving as a lecturer at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College. She holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Khemarak University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. She also earned a Higher Education Teaching Certificate in Physics and Technology from the National Institute of Education, which has strengthened her pedagogical expertise.
Ms. Sokhary has extensive teaching experience in both secondary and higher education. She began her career as a physics teacher at Hun Sen Koh Chinh High School in Kandal Province, where she taught from 2007 to 2013. Since 2013, she has been contributing to teacher training and education at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College, focusing on developing future educators in physics and related fields.
Her professional interests include physics education, instructional methods, and teacher training. Ms. Sokhary is fluent in Khmer and has a working knowledge of English. She is committed to enhancing the quality of science education in Cambodia through effective teaching and continuous professional development.
