About Phalla Seng
SENG Phalla has more than 20 years teaching experience in both public and private institutions. She started her teaching career as a teacher of English at Obekhaom Secondary School and became a teacher leader after 1 years. A few years later, she won a scholarship to pursue her Master Degree in Education at Hiroshima University in Japan. After her return to Cambodia, in 2015 she had applied to be a teacher education at Phnom Penh Reginal Teacher Training Center where becomes Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) since 2017. In private school, she had experience in teaching general English for young learner and English for Communication at Western University for more than 6 years.
In addition, she also has experience in co-teaching and teacher exchange program in USA and Korea. She has attended various programs in both local and international professional development. Yet she is lack of research skills that she is learning more from other colleagues as well as American Fellows.
She wants to be a teacher because she believes that “Teacher makes change for tomorrow”, thus responsibility, accountability, passion and commitment could not be left behind of being a teacher.
