About DORK Chea
Mr. Dork Chea is the Deputy Director of the Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC), where he oversees the Academic & Inset Office, the Aknuwat Primary School of Phnom Penh, and the Oubek Ka’om Lower Secondary School. In this leadership role, he is responsible for driving academic excellence, managing teaching and learning activities such as practicums, and overseeing student discipline.
Mr. Chea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (1991) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Chamroeun University of Poly-Technology (2003).
He is deeply committed to shaping the next generation of professional educators. To align with PTEC’s vision of leading 21st-century teacher education college, Mr. Dork Chea emphasizes a holistic approach to education.
He ensures that student teachers focus on comprehensive professional development—encompassing professional practice, studies, and ethics—while also cultivating essential soft skills, effective communication, evaluation skills, and the ability to foster harmonious coexistence.
