About VINH DAROATH
Mr. VINH Daroath earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in 2007, followed by a specialized Pedagogy of Mathematics certification from the National Institute of Education (NIE) in 2008. To further his expertise, he obtained a Master’s degree in Finance Management from the National University of Management (NUM) in 2012.
With nearly two decades of experience in educator training, Mr. VINH Daroath is a cornerstone of teacher development in Cambodia.
• 2008–Present: He served as a Mathematics Teacher at the Municipal Teacher Training Center (MTTC) for nearly a decade before transitioning to his current role at the Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC)
• Content Expertise: His work focuses on strengthening the content knowledge of student teachers in both lower and upper secondary mathematics.
• Pedagogical Leadership: He is a specialist in primary teaching methodology, equipping the next generation of educators with the practical skills needed to manage early-grade classrooms effectively.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. VINH Daroath is a recognized member in national educational reform. He serves as a Core Expert for the SMILE Program (Strengthening Early Grade Math through Inclusive, Level-appropriate Education) in collaboration with VVOB Cambodia. In this capacity, he leads the development of national training materials and mentors master trainer to improve early-grade mathematics instruction.
