About Kun Chanbosorpors
Kun Chanbosorpors is a teacher educator affiliated with the Department of Languages at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) with more than ten years of teaching and training experience. She is also an English lecturer at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. With extensive academic and professional training in TESOL, English education, and pedagogy, she has developed strong expertise in language teaching, teacher education, and innovative instructional practices.
She earned a Master of Arts in TESOL from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and a Master of Arts in English from Norton University. In addition to her formal education, she also participated in an international exchange program at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan, which enriched her intercultural and academic perspectives. In addition, she has attended various regional and international professional development programs in Singapore, New Zealand, and Cambodia, focusing on TESOL, inquiry-based learning, student engagement, teacher education, and Early Childhood Education. Her academic background and continuous professional training reflect her strong commitment to language education and innovative teaching practices.
Her primary professional responsibilities at PTEC include not only pre-service teaching training for both primary and secondary school student teachers and professional development, but also involvement in other course development. With years of experience in higher education and teacher training, Kun Chanbosorpors is passionate about empowering future educators and promoting meaningful, learner-centered approaches in English language teaching.
Her academic interests include Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), innovative pedagogy in digital learning environments, student engagement, and the pedagogical integration of educational technologies in EFL contexts. She remains committed to advancing language education through continuous professional growth, research, and collaborative learning.
