About Channtia SAN
Mr. SAN Channthia is an experienced educator in art education and teacher training, dedicated to the Cambodian education sector since 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History from the Royal University of Fine Arts (RUFA), a Diploma in Teaching (Bachelor+1) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), and a Bachelor of Architecture from the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI). He joined the Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) in 2012 as a lecturer in art education. In this vital role, he regularly researches, implements, and refines curricula while pioneering innovative lesson designs to compile art education textbooks (covering painting and handicrafts) for student teachers. Demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development, Mr. Channthia is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Cambodia. Additionally, he has actively contributed to revising primary school textbooks and curricula (Grades 1 to 6) for the Department of Curriculum Development under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), supported by JHP.
