BUTH Chantra is a Cambodian French teacher and educator with several years of professional experience in French language teaching and teacher development. He is currently serving as a French teacher at the Phnom Penh Pedagogy Institute. Throughout his career, he has contributed actively to the promotion of French language education in Cambodia through teaching, academic support, and educational collaboration.

He previously worked as a French and history teacher at Angkor Thom High School in Siem Reap from 2018 to 2024. In 2024, he also served as Deputy Director of the Francophone Studies Department at Angkor University in Siem Reap, where he participated in academic coordination and the development of French language programs.

His academic background reflects a strong commitment to French language education and professional development. He obtained a master’s degree in French Language Teaching from the National Institute of Education (NIE) in 2022. He also earned several professional certifications and diplomas in French studies, including DELF B1 and B2 diplomas, a higher education teaching certificate from the National Institute of Education. In addition, he completed a bachelor’s degree in French literature at the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), Royal University of Phnom Penh.

Passionate about language education and intercultural exchange, BUTH Chantra continuously seeks opportunities for professional growth in the fields of pedagogy, digital education, and French as a Foreign Language (FLE). His participation in academic training programs and international educational events demonstrates his dedication to improving teaching practices and contributing to the development of Francophone education in Cambodia.

His teaching approach emphasizes communication, learner engagement, and practical language use. He believes that effective language teaching should encourage confidence, cultural understanding, active participation, and lifelong learning among students.
