About Set Sekkhapirath

Set Sekkhapirath has been serving as a lecturer in the Department of Educational Research and Library at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC), a position he has held since 2022. In this role, he is responsible for delivering core curriculum subjects, including English and Research Methodology, contributing significantly to teacher professional development and pedagogical improvement.

With a solid foundation in language education and global educational practices, he earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in TESOL from Pannasastra University of Cambodia (PUC) and a Master of Arts (MA) in TESOL from the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) in 2017. Furthering his international academic training, he obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Hiroshima University, Japan, in 2025.

His areas of professional expertise include ELT, instructional pedagogy, curriculum design, educational leadership, and teacher training. He is actively engaged in educational research, with current projects and publications focusing on pronunciation instruction, students’ learning motivation, cognitive engagement, and action research.
