About SOPHORN THY
Brief Bio:
My name is Thy Sophorn. I am a teacher educator in Educational Psychology and Learning Assessment in the Faculty of Research and Pedagogy at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC), under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
I obtained my master’s degree in Education from Hiroshima University (HU), Japan. I also completed a Bachelor+1 degree in Psychology from the National Institute of Education (NIE), a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), and a bachelor’s degree in General Management from Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University (PSRBU).
His research field focuses on education, inclusive education and mental health in educational settings, emphasizing the promotion of equitable learning opportunities and the support of students’ psychological well-being through inclusive teaching practices. He currently leads and supervises student teachers and master’s students in conducting action research and educational research.
