About Soth CHEA
Mr. Soth Chea is currently a vice dean and a lecturer of the Faculty of Science Education, Phnom Penh Teacher Education College, Cambodia. He earned his Master of Education, majoring in Mathematics Education from Hiroshima University, Japan in 2019. He also obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Khemarak University, Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2009. Serving as the above position, he has led and been involved in various roles including strategic planning, curriculum development, administrative oversight, internal quality assurance, student affairs, national and international collaboration, lesson study and action research support. He has also conducted various courses including the fundamental principles of school mathematics, the pedagogy of teaching and learning mathematics, calculus, and linear algebra. Moreover, he has extensive experience in supervising student teachers and mentoring educators from various Teacher Training Institutions in conducting action research projects. In academic contributions, he has published several papers in the field of mathematics education. He also works as an editorial member and reviewer of local and international journals.
