About Vuthy Len
LEN Vuthy is a teacher educator at Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) with almost 20 years of experience in teaching and training. His teaching responsibilities include courses in teaching grammar, pronunciation, methodology, reading and writing.
He holds a Bachelor of Education in English from the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL). Over the years, he has participated in many professional development courses both locally and internationally to stay current in teaching methods and strategies. He also obtained a teaching certificate in Professional Development Programme in English Language Teaching Methodology for Cambodian Master Teacher Trainers in Singapore.
At PTEC, he is involved in editing the English textbooks from grades seven to nine. His work focuses on preparing pre-service teachers to meet the demands of modern classrooms while improving their communication and teaching abilities. He also helps train the English lower secondary school teachers how to use and teach the English textbooks throughout the country.
He is passionate about helping students develop their cognitive and communicative skills, as well as supporting pre-service teachers to become confident and capable educators.
In addition to his professional development, he tries to find opportunities to develop his skills and knowledge. He strongly believes in lifelong learning and is committed to contributing to the improvement of the education throughout Cambodia.
