Nouv Sophal has been serving as a Primary Science Teacher in the Science Department at the Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) since June 2016.

She is a highly committed educator, consistently  of her teaching targets and credit requirements. She specializes in developing innovative instructional materials and conducting Lesson Study (LS) research to enhance classroom effectiveness.

Sophal holds a Master of Science in Biology (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology-Chemistry (2011). To stay at the forefront of modern education, she actively integrates advanced digital tools and AI technologies, including Google Classroom, Google Meet, Gemini, and Grok AI, into her teaching and lesson preparation.

Her expertise is further enriched by international collaboration through the S-TEC project, where she works alongside Japanese professors to refine lesson planning and experimental science techniques. She is also skilled in Co-teaching and producing educational videos to support diverse learners and promote active learning. Beyond her technical skills, Sophal is recognized for her strong professional ethics, fostering an inclusive, non-discriminatory, and respectful environment for all her students.
