Ms. UM Lakhena is a highly experienced educator with a profound background in history, social sciences, and teacher training, dedicated to the education sector since 2009. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from Royal University of Phnom Penh, a Higher Education Teaching Qualification (Bachelor+1) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), and a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the Human Resources University. Ms. Lakhena joined the Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC) in 2009 as a History Lecturer and was subsequently appointed Deputy Head of the Social Science Department. Committed to continuous professional development, Ms. Lakhena has successfully completed numerous international training courses on teacher capacity building, Children's Rights, and teaching English in a multitude of countries such as Sweden, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and New Zealand.
